Bottom line is, whether I question my friends' decisions or not, where they are trained and I am not, I leave it to them. I'll pass on my concerns, but the bottom line is I cannot control them.
Thinking I'm crap at taking care of myself isn't controlling me. Only one said they'd pass their concerns on to anyone other than me, and then only if he wasn't in a position of authority.
I have no beef with that, and feel no disrespect off it. Perhaps selfishly, since I feel that way about more than one of my friends.
Wait, is that down in Fells Point/Highlandtown? Cause I think I've eaten there and it was omigodgood.
If not, putting it on my list.
It's in La Plata, dunno if that's the same area. If you do end up there, let me know how you find it. Bob says it's fantastic.
See where you have to start kicking, sarameg?
OK, so I'm dense, people. Sheesh.
I feel like I'm just shoving my foot in everywhichway when I don't mean to. I'm not good about being very clear about now.

Also, La Plata is on my list of favorite place names, due to it being pronounced "luh plate-uh."
Will try, Plei. I'm thinking of going burqa til I find something that works. Oy.
NO BURQA MISSY! You've got a gorgeous face. It'd be a shame to hide it.
Allyson, it does seem highly unlikely that makeup is somehow turning you ugly. I mean, makeup that isn't special effects makeup, anyway.
The trend that really escapes my understanding is the giant bug eyed sunglasses that make anorexic starlets look even more breakable.
When we were walking up Haight Street this afternoon, we passed 3 women in a row sporting this look. It is possibly even uglier in 3-d real life; also, the fact that these women were all not only not starlets but nice, healthy, non-anorexic looking normal people did not help at all. Still tragically fugly. The worst offender accompanied hers with a floppy hat and tighttight jeans tucked into faux-Uggs. It was unspeakable.
Pizza guy=stoopid. While you're out kicking people in the head, be sure to save a vigorous thumping for him.
