Jayne: We was just about to spring into action, Captain. Complicated escape and rescue op. Wash: I was going to watch. It was very exciting.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

cute Devi. Oz hasn't been more than a foot away from me for more than 15 minutes since I've been back. Crazy cat.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

When RW is working with a director who can rein him in, he can be a very good actor, IMO. Otherwise, he's best served by being in movies such as "Good Morning Vietnam!"* in which he can essentially play himself.

* which, according to my dad the veteran, is one of the most true-to-life Vietnam movies ever made, oddly enough.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I don't think I've ever been this happy in my whole life.

That's great. I'm really glad for you, Allyson.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Allyson, that's fantastic.

My cat was suprisingly un-freaked-out when I got home, just more ammo for Mike's claim that Homer likes him more than me.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah, Allyson, that is truly fantastic for you. And, yeah, Anne, wrod.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

It's really wonderful, Allyson! Congrats!

Allyson is making me go aww.

I miss Sundays with the BSO on the radio. Luckily, I can get DC's classical station, so I'm getting my sunday evening music. I don't listen to classical nearly enough (it used to be on all the time growing up) and so I need at least one or two hours of it a week.

I have no queso and chips, and I went to the grocery store earlier and then had to go BACK, because they bagged my stuff and didn't give me half of it. Hate that. But at least they were nice about giving it to me when I went back--they just took my word for it.

I'm always afraid to buy shoes on line because if they don't fit, I'm not sure I'll manage to send them BACK, i'm so horrible about them!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

* which, according to my dad the veteran, is one of the most true-to-life Vietnam movies ever made, oddly enough.

And yet, the movie that cemented my RW hate. More for political reasons than performance, because that really was before he became ROBIN WILLIAMS.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Happy birthday, msbelle.

I have no queso or chips, but I did have a yummy brunch at a mexican restaurant. I ran into a friend of mine on the street and she said that she almost passed me up because she simply could not believe that I would be out in the street in such could weather. She said that her husband tried to convince her that it was in fact me, but she refused to believe it until she was almost on top of DH and me. I couldn't believe I was out myself. So, so windy and cold today.
