I'm sure you're going to hear lots of advice and theories, and one follows: a friend of mine is a natural nutritionist and told me that for arthritis she recommends Flaxseed oil supplements, and avoiding eating any fruits/vegetables from the nightshade family (potatoes, tomatoes, eggplants, peppers). She's had clients who saw real improvement with those dietary changes.

Tomatoes are the food of the devil, eggplants are nasty and slimy, and I generally have no taste for peppers. Potatoes will hurt, however.
