'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Gronklies!

Alas, that is pretty much all I've got right now.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

what Theo said.

I had dreams last night where I was endlessly running to catch planes, threatened by a neighbor's pet lioness, and sick with something that had me in the hospital and having to have a serious of 4-5 shots every 4 hours mostly for pain (this sickness required me to stay on my feet?!?!).

Am exhausted this morning.

I just had two really delicious cookies for breakfast. I'm now waiting to see if that makes it all better or not.

I hate physics. That is all.

I'm an archaeologist. Give me a hole to dig.

information libertarian

But don't you need to be able to calculate the proper angle of approach to the hole, and what vectors of force affect the shovel, and to what extent you should step out very deep holes so they don't collapse on you?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But don't you need to be able to calculate the proper angle of approach to the hole, and what vectors of force affect the shovel, and to what extent you should step out very deep holes so they don't collapse on you?

If they can make it so we can control the momentum of a ton or two of metal without having to get all physiccy, they should spare Jars a similar pain.

Now this is a knifeblock.

The physics is done! Mwahahahah! Take that, mathiness!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bah. This offends me on so many levels. But I'm too gronkified to sort out those levels....

imBridgerBowl writes "According to the San Jose Mercury News, The Bush administration wants access to Google's huge database of search queries submitted by users to track how often pornography is returned in results. This information would be used for Bush's appeal of the 2004 COPA law, targeted to prevent access to pornography by children. The law was struck down because it would have restricted adults access to legal pornography. Google is promising to fight the release of this information." From the article: "The Supreme Court invited the government to either come up with a less drastic version of the law or go to trial to prove that the statute does not violate the First Amendment and is the only viable way to combat child porn. As a result, government lawyers said in court papers they are developing a defense of the 1998 law based on the argument that it is far more effective than software filters in protecting children from porn."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Now this is a knifeblock.

There are a lot of people out there with issues.

So, I was sure I would be really late to work today, because of leaving kind of late, and excellent luck with the commute the last couple of days that was due to run out. But no! I was only a little late -- I think I was the second one here. And now I have most of the day to leisurely take care of little things while I wait for everyone to get back to me on the big thing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, and also:

The free Metro paper referred to the Brangefetus this morning, I'm pretty sure. Har.

Project Runway: Santino really must be stopped. He said last night that if he only had more time, he could have "done something," but really he should have had about 20 minutes LESS time. Says me.

And Allyson, I would imagine the only thing that would actually gross out a massage therapist would be being dirty. And I know you're not dirty, so. I am, as ever, reminded of the lady getting a pedicure next to me one time who they finally had to kick out and tell her to go to a podiatrist, because her corns and stuff were that bad.
