I'll have no excuse not to visit, anymore.
Yay!
At least in MN they heat and insulate their buildings properly and close the bloody door. Silly SF weirdos.
Yeah, this is why Californians complain about the cold at significantly higher temperatures. A lack of insulation, heat and common sense. Though it is cold here today and doesn't feel so bad to me. Certainly nothing like the shiver chills I had last night.
Oh! I used Mayflower when I moved from LA to Phoenix all those years ago. And they were great. I had forgotten. Thanks for jogging my memory.
Flunged back, Laura. Twice cause I forgot something in the first e.
(or at least typing on it; maybe I can post telepathically)
You got the umfriend to call last night through sheer force of will, I wouldn't put my kittens against the telepathy.

Heard from apartment!lady and filled out my application online which was initially approved though I know they still need to do a background.

Oh let this work out...
I've a tension headache. Shocking. Time for a nap now hopefully. [edit: Whoa. Some really painful stretches and some really powerful headache meds later and I am feeling a whole lot more human.]
Did talk to Dad briefly and he's sweetly excited and happy for me and this move.
Whee! Sounds like things are falling into place Cass. Rest now!
Cass, I just talked to T on the phone, and she said to tell you good luck and congratulations.
Cass, congrats on your imminent move!
The smoke alarm in my building's stairwell is low on batteries, and has been beeping loudly ALL FUCKING DAY. I've been down there a few times to try and open it up to replace them, but I can't figure out how to get the cover off. We called the landlord, who said she'd come by sometime "tonight." ARGH.
[edit: Hooray! DH managed to rip it off the ceiling and take the batteries out. Landlord can replace them and put it back when she gets here, and in the meantime, we'll try not to set anything on fire.]
Oh that is so sweet of T. I still smile remembering the dinner where we all talked and laughed and just had so much fun all evening.
Tomorrow is both Farmer's Market and the start of the racing season with the Daytona 500. Apropos of nothing really. Just focusing on the happy.
I've reached the "I'M SO HUNGRY I COULD KILL SOMEONE!" side effect of the steriods. I'm working on dinner, but it's just not fast enough.

That is the restaurant they went to last night, without me. The same one where we ate the yummy meal. We need to do that again some time. Perhaps in Portland.
