[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Cass, congrats on your imminent move!

The smoke alarm in my building's stairwell is low on batteries, and has been beeping loudly ALL FUCKING DAY. I've been down there a few times to try and open it up to replace them, but I can't figure out how to get the cover off. We called the landlord, who said she'd come by sometime "tonight." ARGH.

[edit: Hooray! DH managed to rip it off the ceiling and take the batteries out. Landlord can replace them and put it back when she gets here, and in the meantime, we'll try not to set anything on fire.]

Oh that is so sweet of T. I still smile remembering the dinner where we all talked and laughed and just had so much fun all evening.

Tomorrow is both Farmer's Market and the start of the racing season with the Daytona 500. Apropos of nothing really. Just focusing on the happy.

Mostly lurking...

I've reached the "I'M SO HUNGRY I COULD KILL SOMEONE!" side effect of the steriods. I'm working on dinner, but it's just not fast enough.

That is the restaurant they went to last night, without me. The same one where we ate the yummy meal. We need to do that again some time. Perhaps in Portland.

Farmers Market AND Daytona? It's like Cassmas!

Call me when you get to horny...

Acutally, we should have Buffista 'Roid Response Teams. Jessica could head up BRRT Starving, the Mommies could hand off your babies to you for BRRT Insomnia... like that.

Daytona is tomorrow? And Mardi Gras is next week? Where is this year going, already? Sheesh. Well, actually, not too bad because that means May gets here quicker.

I already know of several fabulous restaurants there...
Farmers Market AND Daytona? It's like Cassmas!
Bwah! That shall be my new holiday. If my house were clean it would be one of the best days ever.

Yep, Daytona is tomorrow. It seems unpossible to me even and I have been watching the lead-up events. How is it mid-February already?

I want one of the 'fista babies. I can't believe I am still awake.

If I stop stretching my shoulders, they winch straight back up. So I am casually stretching, reading around the interweb and sort of wondering if the day is really as bright as it looks to me or if it is sleep dep. [Also? Kinda whiny. It's unflattering. I'm just sort of brain dumping pre-processing today.]

Kittenish, on the other hand, is only waking up enough to move from one nap spot to another. Flopping heavily down and going right back to sleep.

Cassie, these accents aren't for real, are they?

What accents?
