Matt called from milwaulkee this am - talking about the temp rising to -2. I know it isn't that cold here - or even close , yet today the cold is sitting in my bones. I have to go to work, and will hop in the shower soon. I hope that drives the chill out enough to keep it out...
Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Urgh. Wine tasting party last night. Lots of water this morning. Verbs to return later.
yet today the cold is sitting in my bones.A nice hot shower should warm you up nicely. At least it usually works for me. I adore long hot showers when it is chilly.
Filliam H. MuffmanJessica, your tag cracks me up every time you post. Hope you feel better soon too.
This somehow tempers the $100 oil change I just got.
Aaagh!
Glad to hear the 2nd day was somewhat better Daniel. (had to be!) I hope things fall into place and you find some fun co-workers to ease the burden.
insent Cass
Cass, what an adventure! I'm glad you're moving to Portland, too, because now I'll have 2 reasons to vist Oregon: you and my cousin Aaron. I'll have no excuse not to visit, anymore.
Lack of food in the house is going to force me to brave the arctic temps.
I don't miss Minnesota weather!
Neither do I, though I am chilled to the feckin bone right now here in SF. I'm tired of people saying I should be used to it, too. At least in MN they heat and insulate their buildings properly and close the bloody door. Silly SF weirdos.
Need to look into moving co's now.
Drunk-driver accident aside (the one that ran into the rig carrying my stuff), I was quite happy with Mayflower. And eee! I'm so excited for you!
I suspect I can probably take a nap and actually sleep now that I took the leap of faith.yay for leaps of faith, Cass!
juliana, you ARE one of those silly SF weirdos now....
ION, my wrist tendonitis has been flaring up in a bad way all week, due entirely to the (pointless, needless, dumb-ass) changes at work that have required me to write macros for Microsoft Word for about 3 full 8-hour days. Bah. Anyway, the tendonitis, combined with a 3-day weekend away from work, means I should stay away from the computer (or at least typing on it; maybe I can post telepathically) and let my wrist rest.
So I'm around (though at this particular moment I'm headed to the gym), but I'm going to give my wrist a break and curl up in the comfy chair with good coffee and try to make a dent in my to-be-read pile.
