(can I just say how glad I am to hear about another baby sleeping with her parents? I'm not sure why I'm so self-conscious about this but I'm glad to know other parents I like are doing it.)
We are such the baby-in-the-bed family. It just works out that way when I'm tired because bringing the baby into the bed is SO much easier than getting out, going to rocking chair, etc. In fact, we're such the defacto family bed family that our temporary arrangement for me to get more sleep is for me to sleep in my daughter's room in HER (double) bed.
Beth, yay for having your DH home again!
nope, not home. In Milwalkee.
eta: bad typeing in my original post. no biscut for me. but more wine, because I typed that post prewine.
The awesomest thing about cooking with a crock pot is when you step off the elevator thinking, "gee, something smells good" you then get to go eat it.
What did you make, Trudy?
pork loin braised in milk. got my italian on, baybeeeeee!
Mmm. That is fancy crock pot fare. I need to figure out how to use mine and find a good cookbook for it.
ND and I are on the freeway heading to LAX to pick up meara. YAY meara! However, there are some issues:
- we are driving from the Valley to LAX
- it's Friday during rush "hour"
- it's a holiday weekend
- it's raining
Anyone from LA is now groaning in sympathy. For those from other regions of the country, allow me to translate: We started our epic journey at 6:30. It is now 7:42. We've travelled 10 miles.
headdashboard
I left work at 5:30.
I literally just walked in the door.
... on the plus side, you have interweb in the car.
At least here we have weather to account for slow going. So glad I don't live in SoCal anymore, the traffic would drive me nuts.
