Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Have fun, Teppy! Go you with your psychic powers of being able to get a guy to call you.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Tep has mad um-fu skillz.

I'm getting the pig!

I might still make them. I am just going to delay it until Dave and I can pick a date to celebrate.

Squee!

Heh. Umfriend called me. No, seriously. Offered grilled cheese and soup.

Dude! Go you! You'll have to teach me how to do that. Please?

Beth, yay for having your DH home again!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Steph, when you get back, can you work some fu? Here's what I need:

  • boy
  • him to call
  • no more migraines so I don't try to kill boy for being stupid enough to call

Thanks!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Aimee, when my credit rating was frelled I went to these guys www.buccs.com I'm pretty sure they have affiliates all over the country. They pulled my report, showed me all the flaws, gave me the form letter that said "this is bs, take it off her rating" for the ones that were BS, the letter that said "here's the check, now take this off her credit rating" for those that weren't. They helped me refinance my student loans. All of that was $75 for the visit and I found them extremely efficient and helpful (for instance, they call the real phone numbers, not the put you on hold for-damn-ever numbers and hand you the fax numbers you'll need).

They also closed down a credit card and negotiated down my interest. I have mixed feelings on that one because to get THAT I have to pay via them and it costs me $35 bucks a month. My debt was on the cusp of that saving me money (it does, a little) but its enough of a hastle (I have to get money orders) that I almost wish I hadn't done it.

Unless you have a ginormous debt I wouldn't recommend the second service, but the first one is fucking stellar.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

(can I just say how glad I am to hear about another baby sleeping with her parents? I'm not sure why I'm so self-conscious about this but I'm glad to know other parents I like are doing it.)

We are such the baby-in-the-bed family. It just works out that way when I'm tired because bringing the baby into the bed is SO much easier than getting out, going to rocking chair, etc. In fact, we're such the defacto family bed family that our temporary arrangement for me to get more sleep is for me to sleep in my daughter's room in HER (double) bed.
