I just got home from the hospital. I think I had one of the most unprofessional doctors I've ever seen. She went on and on about how often I see the "shrink" then told me that my cough was all in my head. Apparently, I can psychologically decide to turn it off.
ok - asthma can get worse if you are under stress, but that doesn't mean it is in your head, it means your body is reacting to stress. That would be like saying the rise in my blood sugar that happens when I am stressed ( physically or mentally) Is something I could just decide to fix. Write the letter vw
{{Gud}} I have positive feeling for your family. It sounds to me like you both care about your kids, so things can work out well if you are both keeping that in mind. I am guessing the real fault is the different turns you both have taken in how you see life, not anyone's imperfctions. May you both get back to the stage where you remember that perfection is not that way things are - or even a part of the plan. and I'm sending you extra peace and support to help you through this time.
So, MG, how are the kids taking that "early college" advice? Are they nodding sagely, or rolling their eyes and snorting, planning to waste away their youth with rock and roll?

Health~ma to Tep's dad...and to vw and sj, although it sounds like the drugs should help. Neat doctor there, vw. Sounds like she's of the opinion that her job would be so much easier if people just weren't ever sick.

The worst part is that they're
still together.
And hating every minute of it. I can't bear to be in a room with them both at the same time. Luckily that rarely happens.
I just got a phone call. I've got a job with the company I interviewed with twice. It's $8K/year more than the last place that I worked, but it does involve an hour drive each way. Office casual, so I have to wear my nicer clothes.
Still? Job! I start Thursday.
I called Andi at work already.

Also, as someone who had an hour commute each way for three years, let me just say this : Books on Tape are your friend. You can get them from the library, too!
