Then Chinese New Year tomorrow (plus dim sum) with Juliana and Suzi.
You're a week late...
(Which is probably for the best, since the dim sum crowds the past 2 weekends were INSANE.)
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nah - the parade here is tomorrow. For whatever odd reason.
::totally jealous of Hec::

Oh, weird. (And in that case, forget what I said about avoiding the crowds.)

The parade is so much fun. I've probably mentioned this before, but I saw the cutest thing - a Chinese dragon came right up to this girl of about three. The dragon was moving its head and body all around in a vicious manner, all the while keeping its head right in front of the girl. The girl defended herself by spraying a good long burst of Silly String into the dragon's mouth.
Then a cop came over and she Silly-Stringed him too.
Guess who I'm having lunch with today? P-Cow! Katie B. and JZ are coming too. Then Chinese New Year tomorrow (plus dim sum) with Juliana and Suzi. Also, it's warm and gorgeous outside.
Well, I get to go to philosophy class and talk about Locke! In 23-degree weather! So there!
I have discovered there's a woman in my company who's last name is "Kuntster".
And it's her married name. I would have never taken it.

Bwahaha! That's adorable.
Triumph the Insult Comic Dog was at the NYC parade last week. (Along with fifteen thousand other dogs, which made walking around Chinatown even more of a contact sport than usual.) I tried to take a picture, but there were too many people in the way.
I invented a drink for my friend's Chinese New Year's party last week called the Pink Poodle. It was Champagne (sparkling rose would have been even better), pink grapefruit juice, pom juice, & pom seeds. It was delicious!
In zoo news, we now have a new baby porcupine - a porcupette. The good news - for mother porcupines - is that the quills are soft at birth (so no stabby stabby for her).
