What is even happening?

erika, backflung and thank you!

Completely unrelated t me ...

I had a bitch of an anxiety attack, this morning. I haven't had one in quite a long time. Well, I haven't had one I didn't spot coming a mile away, and talk myself out of before it took over, in a long time. This was a stealthy little devil. It's been a couple of hours. I'm still in that once-the-crying-comes-I'm-sure-I'll-be-fine stage. Ugh.

Thanks, Nora. It's much better now. I just need the cleansing cry, but it won't come.

Hey Beej, I meant to mention, I'm glad you gave your date a chance, and enjoyed it.

Compassionately intolerant

Oh boy. I need date advice.

I got up today feeling terrible physically. I haven't slept properly all week and I drank too much wine last night.

Now. The fella wanted to do something special at a particular restaurant this evening that turns out to not be happening.

I offered to cook if that was the case but I feel awful and I have a huge weekend ahead, including cooking for a Carribean neighborhood party I'm co-hosting. (attendtance about 75).

However, I feel like ass.

Would it be awful to cancel the second date so hard on the heels of the first successful one?

Fella, in his message, said he was happy to take me to another restaurant. Nooo. I either want to be at home alone or with him for a short period.

What is the ettiquette for something like this?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Would it be awful to cancel the second date so hard on the heels of the first successful one?

Can you cancel with a specific rain date at the same time? That should be fine.

I'm glad you are feeling better Cindy, and hope you feel even better soon.

I'm glad you had a good date Beej, but I am unqualified to give any dating or relationship advice.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ok, I left work early Wednesday, stayed home all day yesterday and have reported back to work today depite the still feeling not 100% and sporting a cold-medicine hangover as well as a lingering migraine.

Buh fucking lah.

Oh, and now it looks like Joe's paycheck is screwed up.

Beej, what Brenda said. If you cancel saying, can we make it Tuesday instead? that would be fine. People get sick. You just need to make a firm follow up date so he won't think you're trying to ditch him.

(((Aimee)))

I hope you are feeling better soon, and I hope the paycheck screwup isn't too bad.
