morning
today I will update my resume and fill out the supplemental questionaire. If I am very good I will fill out the application too, but I have given myself permission to not do the application until tomorrow if I wanna wait.
but first - breakfast.
Man, I had to do a second transfer for money form savings to checking this month. Also, I found another overdue bill from some bulb company. I had been throwing away letters from them because I thought they were ads, not bills. I didn't even know that we ordered a bunch of bulbs that never got planted. Can't wait till this month is over. I've already stopped eating breakfest and lunch on workdays to save money.
Ugh, Gud, been there. Can you at least pick up some oatmeal or ramen or something cheap - starving yourself all day won't help your mood any, and I think the last thing you need is to be less able to deal with stress right now. Will the end of the month bring relief?
The end of the month will bring more money. Between overdue bills left over from running out of money in December, property taxes, trips to visit relatives that I couldn't nix, it has been a finanically crushing month.
Gud, you need to eat- no food is not an option.

I'm doing okay with one meal a day on workdays. I've been doing it for a couple of weeks. It's just frustating, a year and a half ago we were in good financial shape, no consumer debt, just a mortgage. Then when I took over family finances this fall, I discover that things are really bad. I should have paid more attention.

Eh, couldashouldawoulda, you did what you thought was right and you're fixing any mistakes now.
And eat something for pete's sake.
I should have paid more attention.
Yes, of course, it's your fault that your wife simply stopped paying the bills. You should punish yourself by denying yourself meals. That'll teach you!
Morning Gronklies All.
Dear Epic, thank you for the boss rebuke and poking (he's a nice big target).
My pleasure, I assure you. Since I'm pretty confident I'd get into rather a large amount of trouble for bringing the dirk in and "reprimanding" my own cow-orkers, virtually rebuking yours and Kat Bee's is nicely satisfying. Wait a sec - Kat Bee? Is this the same boss with the whole check-giving-taking-back-basically-stealing-money-from-you Harpy that you spoke of earlier? If so, I think the dirk may not be strong enough punishment. For her, I'll borrow Lord McFionn's broadsword.
*gets firm two-handed "poke" ready*
{{{Gud}}} Please be as good to you as you can be.
I'm sorry. Still hate your wife.
I know you'll defend her, too, which makes it more painful.
