Sweetie, we're crooks. If everything were right, we'd be in jail.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Don't think I'm not wise to your sneaky ways.

Whistles sinisterly innocently.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Things Jilli Needs:

Moonage Daydream big fat glossy photo book by Mick Rock of Bowie's glam days. Droolworthy.

Best of Bowie DVD collection, including all the early film/videos for things like "Queen Bitch" on the Old Grey Whistle Test and the "Jean Genie" vid he did with Cyrinda Foxe.

Disc 1: Oh! You Pretty Things (from Old Grey Whistle Test), Queen Bitch (from OGWT), Five Years (from OGWT), Starman (from Top of the Pops), John I'm Only Dancing, The Jean Genie, Space Oddity, Drive-in Saturday (from Russell Harry Plus Pop), Life on Mars?, Ziggy Stardust (from the motion picture), Rebel Rebel (from TopPop), Young Americans (from the Dick Cavett Show), Be My Wife, "Heroes," Boys Keep Swinging, D.J., Look Back in Anger, Ashes to Ashes, Fashion, Wild Is the Wind, Let's Dance, China Girl, Modern Love, Cat People (Putting Out Fire) (from Serious Moonlight Tour), Blue Jean, Loving the Alien, Dancing in the Street (with Mick Jagger)

Bauhaus Shadow of Light/Archive - all their vids on DVD finally. And cheap.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Disc 1: Oh! You Pretty Things (from Old Grey Whistle Test), Queen Bitch (from OGWT), Five Years (from OGWT), Starman (from Top of the Pops)

Hee! I put these on a DVD for my sister last year for her birthday. (We have them all at work, including the three outtake versions of "Queen Bitch" where he randomly stops playing halfway through the opening riff.)

The status is NOT quo.

Gris, I am so impressed with you right now. And also? MAN do we have a sexy-savvy posse! Just sayin'.

And because you all know that it's really all about me, I'm sure you've been dying to get a narrative update. I'm proud to say that despite having had only 45 minutes of sleep last night and having to teach three classes today, I managed to complete 10 more. 52 down, ten to go.

But gods am I tired.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Not Jilli, but NEED!

I think these are among the Easter Eggs, which are supposed to be plentiful in this set. It has the full 20 minute "Blue Jean" minimovie too.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I recommend masturbation!

Oh, wait, totally different conversation...

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, wait, totally different conversation...

Oh, recommend it anyway. Nobody here will even try to stop you.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Score! Steeled myself to pay $58 for new jeans even though I really can't afford it right now, and then they rang up at $19.99!
