Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

My daughter was running around half-naked at the time for some reason so I had to tell her to keep out of the movie, hence the odd dialog.

I don't know how well it will actually show, the server isn't super with video.

Ok. I'm avoiding everything by playing with microfilm today.

Although, all of the overdue library books are just sitting on my desk for the whole world to see and know that I fucked up. Ugh.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

No one will know or think that. But you do, and that's the issue at hand. Forget everyone else, they are irrelevant...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

vw, you need to remember that the whole world doesn't care about library books (unless you have rogue librarians stalking the hall), and unless I'm missing something--how can they tell they're overdue?

'Cause they're interlibrary loans and have the due date in VERY BIG FONT on the front.

Apparently Sabrina took them out of the desk drawer last week, because she noticed that they were all overdue, and seems she told several people to make sure I'd take care of it.

If overdue books are the worst thing that people think about you, you're doing okay. I wish I could say that about myself.

Like Nora said -- it's something you care about. Don't worry about projecting that onto everyone else.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I just view overdue library books as an opportunity to donate to the library.

If I only had a brain...

ita, how did the krav people react to your PT's call?

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I work at a libray. We only care about overdue books if a) you refuse to pay the fine b) lots of people are waiting for them.

signed,

spends 5 out of 7 days at the library and always has overdue books.
