Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Hey, is there any news on the Buffista cookbooks? I've been waiting to put the "Christmas" presents for my British and Canadian Buffy fan friends together to send them. They all tease me a *lot* about my online "Buffy board," and they love to cook, so what better present, right? So that's what I spent the money for their presents on. But if it's going to be much longer, I really need to get them something else and get it in the mail to them. I'm a little embarrassed that I'm so late getting them anything.

Erm. Not wanting to nag, just wondering if there's any sort of news, or a timeframe, or anything.

MG, I've been dithering about whether to cut my hair again, or try to let it grow out a bit more. It's at an awful stage right now, too long to be as easily dealt with as short-short hair, not long enough to really do anything interesting with. I'm sort of deciding by default at the moment. I'll probably go short-short again in spring.

And Anne, owitch. I'm very glad you're better.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Thanks Beverly. Between this and the blood pressure dips, I have learned that very, very bad things happen to me if I don't stay properly hydrated.

Beverly, they should be shipping on Saturday.

Woo!! Thanks, vw! Nice to have an ETA.

Okay, now, opinions, please. Do I get the rest of the stuff and the letters together and mail them all today or tomorrow, or wait another week? Another week isn't going to hurt anything, right? Waiting for the perfect present?

Beverly, I would wait, if only because it would save me from having to make a second trip to the post office.

Oh, good point. Always (or usually, anyway) decide on the side of laziness. Works for me. ::does dance of anticipating Buffista cookbooks::

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Cindy - about a year ago I got dumped by my hairstylist cause he had a hissy fit. I posted about it in lj, I'd have to go back to find the story. But I have compared it to a high school breakup cause it felt that stoopid.

So glad you're feeling better Anne.

I have no advice on hair, but I hope you find a hairstylist you can have a meaningful relationship with MG.
