I wonder if DHS is monitoring the electronic request system. Most in libraries that I know of, especially those in university ones, would not willingly give up this kind of information. They might give the information if compelled to do so, and there might be a gag order preventing them from telling the student about it, but I wouldn't think that they would proactively tell the government. It seems like that would be necessary for them to find out in the first place, unless it were something electronic that was monitored automatically.

(I have a small stash of Lillian's stuff that's not going to my RL friend who just had her baby. One or two are earmarked for a Very Specific Potential Future Buffista Baby or two, and the rest are in a General Buffista Baby pile.)

today was OK- finally got our names on the condo association paperwork, and I got a few little stocking stuffer things for Tom, and did some vague yet productive cleaning-type things. Tom made ginger scones and chicken with mushroom-leek stuffing.
I just realized that Tom and I are bringing our stocking gift stuff to CT to open on Xmas morning but that I need to get some stuff for my dad's stocking and I have no idea what to do. Ah, well. Gotta have a bit of a challenge in the end game!
I still have to get Greg something, Nick something, and stocking stuffers for everyone. We're going shopping on Monday. Hopefully that will finish it off, and then to the post office and whew, all done. I think.

I have been wrapping presents for a week. tonight - as I go to wrap my BIL's present- he is highly allergic to cats- my 16lber decides he needs to sit on the wrapping paper,and on the present. I haven't yet convinced him to move. bribery might be my only option.
