Interview ~ma to Juliana and Calli!!!
Last meeting of the day (from 4-5pm) was just cancelled. Yay! Except I'm a little bummed since the organizer of the meeting = cutie pie. But now I can run errands after work and not get stuck in 5pm traffic... I guess it all evens out.
I like the thought of linguists lurking on b.org and watching the development of the buffista dialect.
This.
It's going to take a lot to make me think a visible slip under a skirt is anything but someone who can't put an outfit together. I'm still not accepting that visible bra straps is anything but tacky.
And so. much. this.!!!
Joe Update
I'll be vibing for the knee to be nothing too serious. On the other hand, boys who stick-fight without headgear deserve the occasional split lip!

Yay that Joe's ok!
So, I called work. He hadn't gotten the e-mail yet, 'cause he'd been super busy so far today. So he asked me to summarize. So, I explained. He told me I'd always have a job there and to stop worrying about that. I go back on Tuesday, and we're going to make a plan then. I'll probably only work two days a week for a while, till I get back in the swing of things and school.

That sounds like an excellent idea. I'm so glad that your boss seems like such a cool guy and is so committed to you.

Honestly, I don't know why he is, but it is nice.
Good luck to the interviewers/jobseekers! Hugs to those what need 'em.
Great news, vw!
Huh. I'm pretty much OK with people having a slip showing, if it's a nice one in a color that goes with the outfit. I can see that looking kind of cool. I'm also OK with bra straps showing, with the same caveat.
I've been apartment-hunting. One woman just told me that she doesn't rent to students, because we're "not at a stage in life where [we] pay attention to [our] surroundings." She also won't let parents cosign a lease, because "I've done that before and it doesn't work out well."
