Thrive to spite them
Yesterday I was happy because I was able to spend the last of my Xmas money on myself and I was thinking I'd have to apply it to bills,etc.
Only I didn't check my account yesterday and I forgot I wrote 2 checks that combined with my lost hours from Xmas and New YEars (all on this check) I bounced two checks and now I don't have enough money in my account to cover the rent check which I know is going to hit soon. Well, I have just enough to cover rent and nothing else.
Some of what I spent was in gift cards, but I'm returning everything (except Black Books becuase I only paid $5 out of pocket for that) and some other stuff I need to return.
I just feel so stupid because I've done such a good job keeping up with my money. I keep spending all my money on stupid stupid crap, I'm not sure how to change that except I'm writing every cent I spend down so I can see it. I see my therapist Monday so I'll talk to her about the budgeting issues.
Plus I'm having extreme trouble sleeping -- it's effecting my job performance, so I called my shrink this morning. I've taken Ambien previously but that's a $50 co pay I can't afford.
So I have a health question ---
I take Lamictal and Seroquel at night. Would it be bad if I took an over the counter sleep medicine. I've never used them before but I really need help sleeping.

Trust my rage
vw, I had a post all ready to go (saying medium head, btw) when Joe walked in. He had a swollen lip and banged up knee. They did "stick fighting" at PT (that would be physical training) this morning and Joe smacked into his buddy's elbow, leading him to take a bite out of his own lip. He also hurt the knee that he had surgery on 2 years ago. I took care of him for a little bit and now he's back on his way to the medical clinic to get looked at. I'm praying he doesn't need surgery again.

askye, I don't know anything about the meds you're already taking or how they'd react with OTC sleeping meds but I hope things improve quickly for you. Not being able to sleep is right up there with bouncing checks in the ICK department.

And here I was under the impression that PT was supposed to HELP one heal, not cause new injuries or re-injure. Much heal~ma and no surgery ~ma to Joe, Stephanie.
I'm trying to find my elusive motivation. No, really. It's most likely not on the internets but this seemed like the best place to check.

I'd talk to your doctor first. Since Seroquel is somewhat sedating, adding another drug into the mix that also slows down your CNS might be too much. Then again, it might be fine -- but I'd check with a medical professional on that.
