vw, you (general you) need massage most when you feel your worst.
Or, what Sparky said.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

vw--I got a coupon for a massage for my birthday and I haven't used it for the exact same reason--and it's been sitting there since August. Let's both go, shall we?
The steroids are a bitch for weight, vw. I know you know that, but I've seen it, with loved ones fighting lupus and IBS. You can't not breathe. I'm sorry you've got to deal with the weight.
Also, I'm dreading going to therapy tomorrow, and I don't normally dread therapy. But, I asked her to write a letter to work, because I'm taking a few anxiety-related days, and she won't. Which, of course, to my brain means that I must be fucking up somehow by taking these days, 'cause she's never refused to write a letter before.
She must not have thought it was medically necessary to take you out of work. You knew you needed to stay out, regardless. You did the what you could with what you had inside at the time, and it's done.
I have 2 GC's to Burke Williams that are gathering dust in my drawer.

Meep. I'm meeting a potential babysitter for Owen in an hour and a half. He's still napping and I need to get him up and feed him his dinner so we can get over there. I've met her once before but I'm going over to her house to look the place over and size up the situation before discussing specifics with her.
It sounds like you and your therapist really need to discuss why she doesn't want to write the letter, and you should certainly tell her about the anxiety it's caused.
This.
Vw, after keeping weight off for 3 years, my life got a lot more stressful in June of 2004 and I have now gained back 3/4 of the weight I kept off. I suffer from depression, I see a therapist and I’ve gained weight so I can empathize with you on those counts. I feel horrible about how I look right now. BUT certified massage therapists are professionals. They see people of all weights, ages, races and sizes. They’re not going to be paying attention to the weight gain that you are feeling so bad about. You’re just a person in need of therapeutic massage to them. Don’t deny yourself the massage. As someone pointed out, now’s when you most need it. Take Robin up on her offer to make a girls’ day of it.
I’m sorry things have been so rough. Breathe.
Breathe.
This made me laugh. I know that was not your intent. But, my allergies are acting up SO BADLY today, and I'm really stuffed up. So, breathing, not so much today :).
Thanks, everyone. And, Robin, I totally think we should just go make those appointments. I put it on my list for tomorrow.
Heh!
I will, vw!
You know, I need to schedule a massage. vw, you might not have achieved the right soup, but you're inspiring Bitches to pamper themselves. Also important!
