Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

OMG, they invented an upscale slider. It sounds so yum. Somebody in NY needs to try one.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Damnit, I forgot to buy stamps!

There goes my brilliant plan of mailing out my holiday cards tomorrow morning. (My local post office is in Red Hook. The neighborhood is no longer as rough as its reputation would have you believe, but it's still a hell of a long walk in December.)

[eta: Hec, I promise to eat a chi-chi slider for you the very next time I'm in Bloomingdales. Pinkie swear.]

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I think I am going to grab a quick nap and head up some friends for the evening. There is a promise of a fire, some wine and generally being comfortable.

I am scared to pieces about my grandma but there really isn't a damn thing I can do tonight.

So I will nap and actually put myself in the presence of other people. It's better than staying home, Googling and freaking myself out.

Very wise. I'll be thinking good thoughts for your grandmother.

Phew - thanks, Jess. Good to know you're there for me.

I'm going to need a review too.
