Simon: Captain... why did you come back for us? Mal: You're on my crew. Simon: Yeah, but you don't even like me. Why'd you come back? Mal: You're on my crew. Why we still talking about this?

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sammie the cat is now safely snuggling in the crook of my left arm and on my shoulder. For ten minutes now.

That's as much affection as I ever get from her at one time. And it seems to me that on days when she snuggles you, she doesn't snuggle me. Hmm.

All my cats are belong to you.

Does that mean I can get me some new cats?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Does that mean I can get me some new cats?

May I recommend servals? They're the jumpingest!

Our wings are not tired.

Wow! They are reporting that they have found 12 miners alive. Sad loss for the one killed, but what wonderful news for the rest.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It's still breaking news...

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

The evening is quiet here. My uncle has gone back over to grandma's house (on my parent's property). Dad is reading in bed. Mom is watching tv and sleeping on the couch. All of the four-legged ones are snoozing locked up in the laundry room.

I am grabbing a quick shower and then heading to my little nook in the (neicelet's) room that grandma is in. I have books, tea, candles (last night's power loss taught me well) and even a wee tv and dvds.

I'll probably wander in and out of here throughout the night.

Here for you, Cassie...
Thank you. I can't say how much I appreciate this. It's made a difficult time feel less alone.
casmere yoga pants?
Sadly, I only have the one pair and they need to be cleaned now. They still might be the most perfect article of clothing I have ever worn.
And I misspelled her name. Oops. Here endeth the Woolly report.

Yep. MSNBC has the news of the other twelve. CNN hasn't caught up yet.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Laura, you've got some seriously good looking boys.

Betsy, that is blood-chilling kind of news.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart
