Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Hey brenda, I have two apointments at the U of Il tomorrow, so I might have time in between if you wanna do lunch....

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Feh. It rained during lunch while I did my xmas shopping. Me no bring the umbrella. Soggy woolen feelings ensue.

Also? That Calvin & Hobbes collection is heavy as fuck. Damn their excellent paper stock choices.

Mostly lurking...

Ooooo...Wicked talk! I LOVE THE WHOLE THING! And, I loved it even more after I saw it. I need to listen to the soundtrack again.

Edit: It's coming to Boston, and I'm trying to convince my mom she wants to see it for her birthday. I know it's selfish of me, but I have to share the love.

I have extra tickets. Is it tacky for me to sell them on Ebay instead of offering them to friend for face value?

Runs through thread throwing red glitter

I'm done! No work for me until after Christmas! Woo Hoo!

Now I just have to wrap gifts and bake.

If the friend isn't aware of you having extra tickets, I don't think it's tacky - but you never know who you'll end up sitting next to when you sell them on Ebay. Then again... turning a profit on the tickets, especially so close to the holidays, is always nice!

Expedia is telling me that a flight to Chicago is about $160. Driving is roughly 1000 miles and I'd need to rent a car since I don't trust my car to make it that far. Shoot. It was a lovely dream while it lasted.

This.

Deeeeeeena!! INSENT!

I loved Wicked. It doesn't look like it will be coming to Providence anytime soon though.

Hell, you never know who you'll end up sitting next to anyway. My dilemma is more that I have three good friends and two tickets. I thougth about telling them to fight it out, but I know that one of them is having some money issues right now (sick cat, crazy vet bills), and I know that she would go if she could, but would now have to bail for cash. And I can't afford to just give her the ticket.
