I have extra tickets. Is it tacky for me to sell them on Ebay instead of offering them to friend for face value?
Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm done! No work for me until after Christmas! Woo Hoo!
Now I just have to wrap gifts and bake.

If the friend isn't aware of you having extra tickets, I don't think it's tacky - but you never know who you'll end up sitting next to when you sell them on Ebay. Then again... turning a profit on the tickets, especially so close to the holidays, is always nice!
Expedia is telling me that a flight to Chicago is about $160. Driving is roughly 1000 miles and I'd need to rent a car since I don't trust my car to make it that far. Shoot. It was a lovely dream while it lasted.
Wicked talk! I LOVE THE WHOLE THING! And, I loved it even more after I saw it.
This.
Deeeeeeena!! INSENT!
spits out bits of glitter...
Yay sj!!!!!!!!!
I loved Wicked. It doesn't look like it will be coming to Providence anytime soon though.

Hell, you never know who you'll end up sitting next to anyway. My dilemma is more that I have three good friends and two tickets. I thougth about telling them to fight it out, but I know that one of them is having some money issues right now (sick cat, crazy vet bills), and I know that she would go if she could, but would now have to bail for cash. And I can't afford to just give her the ticket.

See, this part tells me you should sell them on Ebay. Besides, choosing between friends is usually a no-win situation.
You could come to Chicago...IJS.
I think the BF is getting me tickets for Christmas. Woot!!!

and if I take them out for a round of drinks with my profit, everybody wins!
ChiKat, I hope you're right!

Exactly. Sounds like the perfect plan to me.
I have the fixings for easypeasy fudge and my overnight bag packed for the next few nights. Off to house/dog sit. Whee. Llama.
