Do I wish I was somebody else right now. Somebody not... married, not madly in love with a beautiful woman who can kill me with her pinkie!

It should. We did it once before, a looooooooooooong time ago and it made a huge impression. Just the idea usually gets him to reconsider his actions.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Brenda, it looks pretty wacko-fringe to me.

Oh lord. Yeah, that's what I thought. My boss's new passion. Ah, well. If it makes her happy.

I am sure he is. Impulse control is hard at that age. He'll learn.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Ah fuck.

Grandma is in the hospital in Fallbrook. She went in early yesterday (5) To early to call you and Dad spaced on it. We had a busy day. We thought it was her hip but an MRI proved other wise. It's her pelvis. She is having a bone scan today at noon. Give us a call.
I don't know anything else. I called her cell but had to leave a message. Heading to shower, get the nice repair man parked behind me to move and then heading up there likely.

Fuckity.

She needs the other hip replaced really soon too but this sounds like something different. And not good.

Fuckity.

From the previous thread:

sj, you've gotten great advice...from everyone but your therapist. Can I come thwap him?

Yes, please. Normally he is good, but he is dropping the ball on this one issue. I am not doing this for attention. Really, I'm not. If I could avoid this awful panicky feeling, I would.

This is for you,sj.

Thank's beth. You made me cry and restored some of my faith in humanity.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Aw, geez. MG, my heart is all twisty for you and CJ. And you, Cass, and your grandmother. And you, sj, and the battle to get stuff done and finish the paper and cope with the evil job. Too much crappitude all around, dammit!

In silver lining news, looks like her other (non-replaced) hip is okay.

There appears to be a tumor on her pelvis though. I know nothing more than that. Talked to my stepmom for a while and we might know more later tonight.

Grandma is knocked out on morphine right now so I am going up there tomorrow.

She is demanding to be home for Christmas and the doctor said that if she was still there, she could be released for a few hours that day. The hell? If she's still there in two weeks???

I am thinking I ought not google until I have something more definitive to google. That way lies madness and the rending of garments.

Thank you for all of the thoughts, prayers and ~ma. I am a firm believer in them.
