{{{Cass and Cass's grandmother}}} Much health~ma headed her way.
Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oh dear. Lots of ~ma to you and G'ma, cass. {{{cass & GM}}} Call me if there's something I can do.
{{sj}}
Aw, geez. MG, my heart is all twisty for you and CJ. And you, Cass, and your grandmother. And you, sj, and the battle to get stuff done and finish the paper and cope with the evil job. Too much crappitude all around, dammit!
::shakes helpless fist at the universe::
{{Cass}} All the healing ~ma I can muster headed your grandmother's way.
She needs the other hip replaced really soon too but this sounds like something different. And not good.In silver lining news, looks like her other (non-replaced) hip is okay.
There appears to be a tumor on her pelvis though. I know nothing more than that. Talked to my stepmom for a while and we might know more later tonight.
Grandma is knocked out on morphine right now so I am going up there tomorrow.
She is demanding to be home for Christmas and the doctor said that if she was still there, she could be released for a few hours that day. The hell? If she's still there in two weeks???
I am thinking I ought not google until I have something more definitive to google. That way lies madness and the rending of garments.
Thank you for all of the thoughts, prayers and ~ma. I am a firm believer in them.
Many thoughts, prayers and ~ma, Cass. How scary. I hope you find out more information soon.
I took a nice, long nap this afternoon and am feeling more human. I have made dinner, but Emily isn't home yet, so I just smell the goodness. If she doesn't get home soon, I'm gonna eat without her.
I am thinking I ought not google until I have something more definitive to google. That way lies madness and the rending of garments.
Don't Google! You don't have enough info yet for that. Thoughts are prayers are with you and grandma.
Recovery-ma for your grandma, Cass. Hip replacement is scary stuff.
{{{MG}}} The Mommy business is HARD. And the pay sucks.
Aimee, my thoughts are with your friend. I know how heart-breaking that can be.
{{Cass and family}} I hope the doctors have a definitive diagnosis (read: good news) for you soon, and that she's home well before Christmas.
I am jealous of vw's nap having.
Don't Google! You don't have enough info yet for that.I'm just going to scroll this along the bottom of my screen for a while. It's sadly true.
I hope the doctors have a definitive diagnosis (read: good news) for you soon, and that she's home well before Christmas.Me too. We hopefully will know a lot more once the bone scan results are back.
I just threw a fit at Verizon and it turned out to be a total mea culpa.
I grabbed my cell to call my mom and tell her about (technically step-)grandma and my phone wouldn't make a call out. This being five minutes after I got off the phone, so it *was* working.
Called tech, bitched and grumbled (brumbled!) about it but they couldn't troubleshoot while I was using the phone.
About five minutes later, I realized that I was trying to use my old deactivated phone that has been doubling as my phone book until I get to Verizon's store to have the info transferred to the actual working new phone.
What tipped me off? Actual names on the screen. Cause, see, the new phone doesn't have that info yet. I am dolt. A dolt who has three cell phones in my purse (oldold, old and crushed by car, and new) so it was really inevitable.
