When we landed here you said you needed a few days to get space worthy again and is there somethin' wrong with your bunk?

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

Did I read Natter right? ita may have a chance at a Braugher sighting?! That would be totally cool! (I would love to meet him, but I'd just come off stupid, anyway. Although not as stupid or pervy as if it were Secor.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Slimmest of slim chances, erika.

Our wings are not tired.

Phew! I got a package in from the FedEx guy at 4:43 that I wanted to ship out in time for Christmas. I quickly slapped a Priority sticker on it and drove to the post office getting there at 4:48 and was back in my car by 4:49. I love when stuff works out right.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oh, holy hell. The rage just kicked in, big-time. I am assuming that it will do this on occasion for a good long while, yes? The trick is not to send any scathing letters or emails when in the grip of it, yes? Because damned if I couldn't tear him apart with my bare hands right the fuck now. Anyhoo. Big breaths. Possibly an Ativan, so I don't kill any innocent coworkers. Mmmm, drugs....

Yeah, pretty much. KB is wise; write whatever you like, but don't send. And remember, these are your feelings, and it's perfectly ok to have them.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Insent to Katie B.

Hey, my not having any money to spend until I get my paycheck tomorrow strategy is paying off. Lots of things I had marked to buy have been discounted. Huzzah discounts!

Massive buying spree takes place tomorrow.

If you do, ita, you *know* I wanna know.(I bet he would say your name perfectly, too. He doesn't speak like a sloppy American, after all.) Hec, cool.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Headed home soon. No news from my assistant, really. They have testing scheduled today, Friday and Tuesday before she gets to see an oncologist. I had to notify my site managers to send all correspondence, that would normally go to her, to me. Not fun. (Not fussing about the workload, just having to explain WHY.)

Now I get to go home to deal with K-Bug et al.

Herding cats for fun

OMGosh, I need to quit my whining and feeling sorry for myself. I kept thinking that I was hearing a weird noise. I looked out the patio door, but there was nothing unusual going on. Later I decided to take out the garbage. I saw my elderly neighbor two doors down, sitting on her steps crying and surrounded by emergency medical personnel. They attached an IV, loaded her onto a stretcher (she screamed, poor thing) and off they went. My guess is broken hip from slipping on the rain-wetted walk. Poor thing! If only I had thought to check further, maybe she was sitting there all alone for awhile.

Seekrit message to DavidS: Back atcha.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?
