What should I do, then? Send her a gift? Sacrifice? … Unholy fruit basket?

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2005: the Year of the Penguin

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2005? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

PICTURES.

When you feel better.

I hope it's good stuff.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Woah! Turns out that 2005 is a sneaky little bugger.

Just when you thought it was safe to appreciate the year....it gets your ass FIRED!

Ho ho ho. Merry Christmas.

Our wings are not tired.

{{{Fay}}} That was a nasty year end twist.

Pictures Aurelia! Your description sounds so delightful. Yay!

Librarian Warlord

Hurrah! Yesterday I put my Secret Santa gift in the mail and also got a box from Anne W. My DH has confiscated the box, and won't let me have what is inside until the 25th. I was admonished that he'd know if I peeked. ::pout:: Thank-you, Anne! More specific thank-yous to follow after I'm allowed to open them.

Anne's gifts look beautiful from the outside. My poor Secret Santa recipient is not going to get such asthetically pleasing gifts because wrapping paper and I do not get along.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Damn, Fay. Here's hoping this just means you'll be available to take a job that has been waiting for you because it is the perfect Fay job.

Pictures Aurelia! Your description sounds so delightful. Yay!

My soul stealing capabilities are not digital, so it takes a bit more time.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

My giftee is going to think I'm lame, but really, I'm lame and cheap. I finally got the package to the UPS store today and there is no way that package is getting to where it's supposed to be by Christmas. Hopefully, it will at least get there before the end of the year! If push comes to shove, call it a Boxing Day gift. Even if it's in a bag. ;)

Herding cats for fun

wrapping paper and I do not get along.

I've been known to wrap presents in a brown paper shopping bag, and then draw a cartoon on it with a Sharpie. There are no ribbons nor bows on presents from Chez Bee. Martha Stewart would be aghast, I'm sure.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I sent my package off today -- the Post Office claims it'll take 2 days, so my feeling is that my santee will get a box o' festive cheer by the weekend. I hope.
