This is the slowest day ever.
Man, you ain't kidding. It's like the whole thing has been dipped in mollasses.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I'll take your smug!
I think. I've lost where a couple shows went. It's annoying.
So you guys say Bones has gotten better? A friend's appearing on it on the 25th, and although I've been told I don't have to watch--I will. Just want to brace myself for it, if need be
I dont' think it will be too painful. though sometimes you wonder how someone could be so goddamn clueless. Dechanel sells the hell out of it, but it's a bad concept.

a friend unconnected to the buffistas in any way just posted that on his live journal. it's not just us, people!
Via Snopes, Hurricane Katrina storm surge pics. It required registration after a while, so I didn't look at them all. Still...big.
Is someone trying to take over the world, using boredom as a weapon?
That would actually be kind of cool.
AAAAARRRRRGH!!!
Allyson's panic is totally killing my boredom buzz.
Not only has this day been dipped in molasses, it is now being mauled by three-toed sloths.
Huh. I think that would work.
Also, squeee, iron chef! I'm glad it was Morimoto.
Also, hm. I just dropped my Bones' season pass. I dunno. I just didn't feel compelled to watch it when it came up. I was also getting tired of ignoring my own personal bodies squick. That means of the new season, only How I Met Your Mother and Prison Break survived for me, and Prison Break is on notice. I mean, really, there's no way that show will be successful for me when if it's successful for everyone else and gets more seasons, it won't be interesting for me if I know they'll never get out. Which means that the only one that survived for me is a romantic comedy. I hate romantic comedies. But I really like that show, and sometimes a laugh is what I need, even if I can only relate to the characters in the barest terms.
So. Jealous. of Jessica and Iron Chef. But, mostly jealous of AB. He's the coolest.
Stephen Root did this flawlessly on Newsradio.
I adore Stephen Root. I think he's an incredible comic actor.
