Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Allyson's panic is totally killing my boredom buzz.

Not only has this day been dipped in molasses, it is now being mauled by three-toed sloths.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Huh. I think that would work.

Also, squeee, iron chef! I'm glad it was Morimoto.

Also, hm. I just dropped my Bones' season pass. I dunno. I just didn't feel compelled to watch it when it came up. I was also getting tired of ignoring my own personal bodies squick. That means of the new season, only How I Met Your Mother and Prison Break survived for me, and Prison Break is on notice. I mean, really, there's no way that show will be successful for me when if it's successful for everyone else and gets more seasons, it won't be interesting for me if I know they'll never get out. Which means that the only one that survived for me is a romantic comedy. I hate romantic comedies. But I really like that show, and sometimes a laugh is what I need, even if I can only relate to the characters in the barest terms.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

So. Jealous. of Jessica and Iron Chef. But, mostly jealous of AB. He's the coolest.

Stephen Root did this flawlessly on Newsradio.

I adore Stephen Root. I think he's an incredible comic actor.

Hey, what's that thing that I always die from in the Oregon Trail game? Dysentery? Syphillis? What?

That depends. You sleeping around on the Trail or drinking river water?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Liese, if you want to know more about Prison Break's arc: they do get out, and we follow them afterwards. It's inherently broken for further seasons--I know I said that about 24, but this time I mean it.

Man, much of the Newsradio cast was golden and lovely.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Ague? Trampled by bison? Poor choice of companions in the Donner Pass?
