Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I love people complaining that Vartan's French accent is crap. But I do have a French Canadian friend that does the worst Quebeçois accents ever.

OK, so I've had this tickle in my throat today and so to keep from coughing my brains out, I have been consuming way too many of the old fashioned hard candies someone brought in. Which are fine, except you have NO IDEA what flavor you are getting, thus stealth licorice happens. Which is just really offputting. The cinnamon ones are pretty startling too.

And these are truly old fashioned in that the licorice tastes a bit like, well, my grandmother's old hatboxes smelled. I have no idea why.

I really need to stop on the way home and pick up some sugarless candies that are not licorice.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Also actors pretending they can't act, or get nervous in front of a camera.

Stephen Root did this flawlessly on Newsradio.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Stadium

That's what they want you to believe...

(Everything's on wheels, and can be rearranged at will. I should have asked where the second set of stoves goes when Emeril Live is in there.)

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I just want to know -- was the theme ingredient alive? I love it when a squid or a crab tries to make a break for it.

I really can't say. I wish I could, trust me.

The VERY BEST PART was when Alton told me he liked my hair.

So you guys say Bones has gotten better? A friend's appearing on it on the 25th, and although I've been told I don't have to watch--I will. Just want to brace myself for it, if need be.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

It has gotten much better, ita.

Thanks, sj. And there I was feeling so smug about not having a Wednesday pileup. Ta da!
