Oh my god. What can it be? We're all doomed! Who's flying this thing!? Oh right, that would be me. Back to work.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I continue to be at work.

I would rather be eating cookies.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I get to go flying in a plane like this in 2 weeks!

Oooh, fun! Hang on to your shoulder straps....

Yeah. The one thing I've always heard about flying in an aerobatic plane - no matter how tight you fasten your seatbelt and shoulder straps before takeoff, there will come a point where you wish they were tighter.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey, even I was at work three hours ago!

Also, I'm reading this book of Dave Eggers short stories, and there are llamas all over the place! FYI.

Also also, I just decided to watch Wanted instead of New York Undercover, and Lauren Velez is in both! I love her.

Always Anti-fascist!

I like HIMYM...but I think my heart belongs to HBO. It's been a long time since network rocked my world. But that means nothing new and exciting till March. Bastards. Very chuffed by the Elba shoutout by Time...the man is FG. Along with being so foamy, it made me say "What's a little heroin?" Which made me most disgusted with myself.(On The Wire, not in Sometimes In April) And I had no idea for two years that IE was a Brit...his accent was that perfect.

I should probably not diagnose people over the internets, huh?

Heh, I don't think telling me, "Uh oh, you're screwed," would have helped. I do still think it's food poisoning, but Google has taught me that some kinds are caused by viruses, so they're communicable. Who knew? At least my mom hasn't gotten sick yet, so I'm hoping she escaped the ickyness.

A little gross, hence the whitefont:

In what police believe was a holiday prank, a young woman unwrapped a gift box left on her Palos Heights porch last week to find a skinned goat's head, officials said Tuesday.

The 18-year-old woman, whom police declined to identify, found the box wrapped in Christmas paper about 1:40 p.m. Thursday on her front porch in the 12300 block of 76th Avenue, authorities said. The woman found no blood on the box.

"We think it was a distasteful prank," Palos Heights Police Detective Adam Nagy said. "That's the thought we have right now."

The woman told police that the only rationale she could think of for the heartless gift was her eating habits, Nagy said. She told investigators she is a vegan, a vegetarian who avoids all animal products.

...

Authorities said they did not know if any local farms were missing a goat.

What is even happening?

Authorities said they did not know if any local farms were missing a goat.
I so read "fans" rather than "farms" on that last sentence.
