"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Ah, I'd forgotten how good fresh, warm, slightly overdone turkey could taste. So very glad I went through all the trouble after all.

My Christmas karma balanced out today... I found a soft downy button-up jacket for my Dad on sale for $30 when my mom and cousin couldn't, but while wrapping discovered that Signals cancelled the plush toy for one of my best friend's kids from my order without bothering to tell me that on the shipping notice they sent 6 days ago. Also, the magic fortune cookie for one of my cousins arrived pre-broken, with a slow leak of the inky fluid inside. So much for ordering from them in the future.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I've decided that the pie in the sky thing I want is to actually fall in love with someone who loves me for a change. I've had enough of either lopsided or unrequited crap.

Oh! Oh! I want this too! But I have to get in line behind Sue and erikaj, I guess. They were first in line.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

One more hour! And so far, my flight is on time.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Huh. For some strange reason, I find that I can't drink to excess the way I could when I was in graduate school. What's up with that?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I tried to do something for you, Perkins. I posted that nice deja vu article. You could have known that only 2/3 of people get deja vu, and if you've had it once you're likely to have it again. But no, I guess that wasn't good enough for you.

What makes you think I didn't read it?
