Now we're saving a vampire from vampires. I got two words for that -- Nuh and uh.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

brenda, is that this week's Without a Trace, the one with DDK? Do you still have it on the TiVo? Our power and cable went out on CSI & WAT night, and we missed them. If you have it and can dl to mailable media, I'll pay for the tape and postage. I can't ahem or torrent, or I'd do that.

If not, well, I'm crossposting in When Come Back.

Oh ita. This so isn't you, and it needs fixed. I'm so sorry you're still dealing with this. It makes my heart hurt for you.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Jesus, ita. My back pain flared up today and it made the whole afternoon at work useless I don't get how you manage, really I don't. Please god let them figure out the problem soon and find a solution.

I'll bet you looked amazing, though.

Thanks, brenda. No worries, it'll eventually be rerun, I'm sure.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

ita, I'm so sorry you're going through all that. I really hope it all gets better quick-like.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

People are acting weird around me.

Sorry to hear about the ongoing crappiness of the health issues, ita and Tommy.

I got a radio treat on the drive home tonight - instead of the usual bathroom break "Stairway to Heaven" or Deep Purple selections, the disc jockey played Electric Light Orchestra'sSweet's "Love Is like Oxygen." Of course it's largely the one chorus repeated again and again, so I'll be earwormed for days. (At least it's with a song I love and never get to hear...)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What everyone else said, ita and Tommy. You both deserve much different..

What is even happening?

tommy, I'm glad you have a diagnosis. I wish it were a more easily addressed one, though.

ita, words fail. As always, I hope there's a solution for you, soon.

JZ, strength (and maybe a little Christmas miracle) to your brother and family.

I came here because of the John Spencer obit. I see it's already been discussed. I gave up the show in the second season, because of a huge squick caused by the idea that they did a 9/11 inspired episode so soon after the event. I never could go back. After that, the only time I paused on the show, while exercising my remote, was if Leo McGarry was on screen. The character he played on L.A. Law was the only reason I ever watched that show, too. He's far too young to be gone.
