The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

In other news, I'm slightly drunk, and have a new pink razr.

Yay!

boo on family stress though, and on Tommy's eye flames.

John Spencer's death makes me very sad.

Plei, did you get something from Nebraska?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Huh. Ian Sommerwhoever from Lost was in an incestalicious L&O and now Daniel Dae Kim is on Without a Trace. Sometimes catching up with the Tivo is entertaining. Also, DDK=hot. Ian S=kind of creepy.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I'm glad you have a diagnosis, tommyrot. At least now that the docs know, they can do something about it.

JZ, I'm so sorry for your brother.

I got my haircut tonight and went to Target and bought a vacuum afterwards. I got the vacuum home and opened the box and a different (cheaper) model is in the box. So, now I have to traipse back to Target tomorrow and get the right one. Bah.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

On a different note, Santa came through the hood on a fire truck tonight,

They do that here too. It's so fun! No little kids in the house, but there are a fair number in the neighborhood, and it's fun to watch them get so excited. You can see (and hear) the fire truck go by about a block away, and then you see them go by my street and not turn on it. Each year, you can sense the disappointment all around, only to see them get even more excited when they realize that the truck turned on the other end of the short loop, and they will get to see Santa close-up and get a candy cane. Sooooo cute.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Plei, did you get something from Nebraska?

Not yet, nope! But I got something from the wilds of California (a bra I'd ordered).

Shipping in my 'hood is running slow.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

A general grrr arrgh at the people with the things that aren't right.

In specific, tommy, that doctoring scheduling stuff is annoying as all hell.

I'm back from the krav holiday party. It was lots of fun, although I did have to go outside for parts of it because it made my head hurt, and left as soon as they gave out the gifts to avoid the music.

I'm just not built for lots of fun these days. I was merely in pain until a couple minutes after I dropped off the guy I gave a lift, and then I kinda collapsed brainwise and had to concentrate on not crying.

The pain is getting to my...well, head's not the right word but maybe it makes sense way too much today. I'm overly fragile. And it shows, I think. People are acting weird around me.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

ita, so sorry. There just isn't a hell of a lot else to say. I'm glad the party was fun, sorry that your body is failing you at times.
