I think I got my Dad the Townsend for his birthday last year.
And I have an Ion on my keychain.
Okay, done now.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I checked. I even entered the catalog code. It told me it wasn't offered anymore. Now if I don't spend $100 there I'll feel like I wasted $25, but I honest to God don't see anything there I want to get for either my stepfather or my brother.
This is disheartening.
I know this probably won't help, but I found my converters and a beautiful fountain pen and cool ink at pendemonium.
People told me today was going to be busy. They lied.
How can people have such varying definitions of "right away"? If you can't do it right away, please stop saying you will.
I'm on the phone with the stupidest AAA rep ever. I told her I want to transfer my membership, since the SoCal one expires today, and she keeps asking me where I lived in Washington State.
I have no idea where that came from.
Yeah, I thought about a fountain pen, but I'm not sure it's really his kind of thing.
If his name is Lloyd, I'd say no.
Oh dude! The sudoku website now tracks your best times!
(Yes, I'm hooked on sudoku now. I started doing the ones in the Washington Post when I was home for Thanksgiving, and now that I don't get them in the paper anymore, I do them on the web.)
Perkins, you're up in NorCal, right? I moved up here 15 or so years ago. I never bothered transferring to a NorCal membership because I would have had to pay a fee to do it and the only difference in membership would have been getting the NorCal AAA mag instead of the SoCal one. Oh, and I would have lost the "seniority" I inherited from my parents.
I just got back from my lunchtime walk. I ran into a co-worker and she told me horror stories of how IT is using OS X to compile daily logs of all activities on our machines. Fuck. I wish I knew enough sysadmin stuff to thwart that somehow.
I look at that sudoku stuff and my mind just goes blank.
Clearly not my thing.
