Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh dude! The sudoku website now tracks your best times!

(Yes, I'm hooked on sudoku now. I started doing the ones in the Washington Post when I was home for Thanksgiving, and now that I don't get them in the paper anymore, I do them on the web.)

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Perkins, you're up in NorCal, right? I moved up here 15 or so years ago. I never bothered transferring to a NorCal membership because I would have had to pay a fee to do it and the only difference in membership would have been getting the NorCal AAA mag instead of the SoCal one. Oh, and I would have lost the "seniority" I inherited from my parents.

I just got back from my lunchtime walk. I ran into a co-worker and she told me horror stories of how IT is using OS X to compile daily logs of all activities on our machines. Fuck. I wish I knew enough sysadmin stuff to thwart that somehow.

Art Crawl!!!

I look at that sudoku stuff and my mind just goes blank.

Clearly not my thing.

That's one happy-looking kid, Corwood. Congrats!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You know they have them in the Metro, right?

15 minutes left at work! My boss just walked by and I was sitting on the table letting a friend check her email. Do I care? No I do not.

My station only has AM.

Ah, I'm the reverse. Maybe they split up the boroughs?

Maybe the outer ones -- Grand Central has both (but that that point, I'm already at work, and don't need a paper).

Also, I just realized that the reason my times are so much better at work than at home is that my work computer was set to Easy instead of Medium. I feel less smart now.

Oh yeah, I don't count Manhattan in "the boroughs."

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Oh dude! The sudoku website now tracks your best times!

Yeah, I noticed that yesterday. It's neat.

What Spidra said t waves at Spidra . I still have my NJ AAA membership. It's honored at all AAA clubs, so it's never been an issue.
