[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Jack was really freaked out, but Kate looked better than ever. Clean, dry hair looks good on her.
Over at TWOP they're suggesting that the stuff we're calling the flashforward is actually the story and that the island stuff is the flashback and that is the big change that ABC was advertising.

Hummm. That could be an interesting reset. Since they've got so many seasons left (even if they are short ones) it would give them some room to go back and forth between pre-crash, island, rescue, post-rescue.
Possible funeral people: Ben, Locke, Sawyer, Michael?
Screencap of the newspaper clipping.
So, it doesn't look from the clipping like it could be Locke or Sawyer, unless they were using an alias.
I know. And the man from New York? That makes it sound like it was Michael.

Sawyer? Using an alias? You don't say!
Although someone here already read it as "Jeremy Bentham," who is a philosopher, which would be more Locke's style. But it could be Ben, too.
Kate specifically said, "Why would I go to the funeral?" Which makes it seem like whoever died personally offended her (and, you know, Ben kept her in a cage and all that).
Didn't Michael betray all the Losties who sailed around the Island?
The Internet has pegged the date of the newspaper as April 5, 2007. So they'd been off the Island for, what, almost three years? Or two years? I think someone on TWoP calculated present time as Christmas 2004.
