I thought it might be Locke's. But Sawyer makes more sense.

Amy, I thought Jack was making a statement that he knew was "ironic." I figured his dad was dead at that point.
Me, too.
Well, damn. I was in the mood for a fucked-up theory tonight.
Do you guys think it was Sawyer's funeral? That nobody came to?
I missed that part, coming in late, but Stephen told me about it. I think my only question would be, why wouldn't Kate go, and if Sawyer's dead, then who's wondering where she is?
Maybe it was Ben's? Juliet's?
Well, she could have met somebody -- do we know how far in the future it is?
Oh and the Chief Surgeon was played by another person from Las Vegas. (The full cast listing is already up at IMDB.)
Maybe Kate went back to her husband, played by Nathan Fillion.
Oh yes. That is no doubt exactly where she went.
Folks over at TWOP are saying that the person in the newspaper article was named "Jeremy Bentham". Great, another philosopher and also a character that we haven't met yet. We haven't, have we?

Yeah, I was assuming she was going back to Sawyer, so I couldn't figure out whose funeral it was.
I was not expecting flash-forward. Damn. I wonder where they're going with this, because clearly they're not going to be rescued by this magical Not Penny's Boat. They have three seasons to go!
I wonder what sort of consequences leaving the island has, why Jack is so freaked out. And I do wonder if it's a "possible" future, or if it's the actual future, and they just gave Jack and Kate (and probably Sawyer) permanent immunity on the show, not that they didn't already have it anyway.
I hated Charlie for a good long stretch, but he redeemed himself in this last arc. I was so sure he was writing "Tell Claire I love her" on his hand, but he used his last bit of energy to pass on important information to people. Gotta respect that.
Also, I really really love Ben, too. I'm sort of in love with Michael Emerson's delivery, and I wonder how he talks normally. It's so freaky cool!
I think Ben's a really great villain. He's very complex, and I think they've been incredibly consistent with him. I never get the annoying flip-flop vibe from him, even though I also never really think of him as a good guy, either.
HA HA HA. Oh my God, TWoP, I love you sometimes. Courtesy of Big Slick:

Flash Forward.
Jack was really freaked out, but Kate looked better than ever. Clean, dry hair looks good on her.
