It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

And now "Lamb G. Lebeouf" is apparently calling, per the caller ID.

Weird. Lebeouf Lamb is a big firm.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ah! At least then it makes sense -- someone calling from there, not someone named that. (esp. because company names are often screwy on the caller ID, with the words flipped and/or with a random comma in the middle.)

Apparently the schools here (or just north of here) are closing early. And it hasn't even started to snow. Officemate and several others just left to pick up their kids.

Crazy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's hilarious.

I think the heaviest part of the snow isn't even supposed to happen until the overnight hours. It's very strange.

information libertarian

It's the anniversary of our biggest ice storm ever (responsible for the conception of my daughter, among other things) and they're predicting "wintry mix" tonight. We'll see.

Also, I had lunch with Stephanie and Ellie! She is SO WEE.

One good thing about it being cold here right now: I don't have to hear about "wintry mix"!! I don't know why I hate that phrase so much. I mean, I hate the phrase more than the actual stuff, and the actuall stuff is TERRIBLE.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

(responsible for the conception of my daughter, among other things)

And the loss of my dogwood tree and my car door handle. Yours is much more fun.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I don't have to hear about "wintry mix"!! I don't know why I hate that phrase so much.

Because it sounds like it should be a yummy snack food, like Chex mix, instead of annoying precipitation?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"Wintry mix" is worse than "thorms."
