Apparently the schools here (or just north of here) are closing early. And it hasn't even started to snow. Officemate and several others just left to pick up their kids.

I think the heaviest part of the snow isn't even supposed to happen until the overnight hours. It's very strange.
It's the anniversary of our biggest ice storm ever (responsible for the conception of my daughter, among other things) and they're predicting "wintry mix" tonight. We'll see.
Also, I had lunch with Stephanie and Ellie! She is SO WEE.
One good thing about it being cold here right now: I don't have to hear about "wintry mix"!! I don't know why I hate that phrase so much. I mean, I hate the phrase more than the actual stuff, and the actuall stuff is TERRIBLE.

We should be home from work by 6. So as long as it waits until 7 to get bad.
The wintery part of our mix isn't supposed to show until 10pm. As long as it's not tons of freezing rain I'll be happy. Snow? No problem.
