Totally plagued. I am so stuffy and coughy. I sleep almost all the time, in between nose blowing and such. The computer is only like, two feet from my bed so posting has been my only contact with the outside world aside from a trip to the video store and grocery store.
I watched March of the Penguins. I was horribly bored. I mean, penguins are cute and all, but an hour and twenty minutes of penguins huddled against storms is just boring.
I saw March in an airplane. Twice actually. Going and coming back. On the way there I was enchanted by the darling penguins and all involved in the story. By the way back, just waiting for the damned penguins to get back to the ocean so I could get off of the plane.
If my plague is anything near the rest of y'alls, it should be letting up soon. Though I was using the dread zinc swabs so I might have traded my senses of smell and taste for a day or two less of cold.
And I am impressed you've made it to any stores at all. Until I was faced with the lure of really good cough meds, I really didn't leave the house. Or my bed, truth be told.
Plague sucks. Penguins soft but not Oscar-calibar actors.
etcorrect: swaB.
Ugh. Got hit by the insomnia fairy driving a truck through my bedroom at about 4 AM. Now I'm trying to decide whether to try taking a shower, or get back in bed....
Well done, people. The Sick has finally made the trans-Atlantic leap, if my throbbing sinusus, rattling chest and constantly running nose are any indication. *points at new tagline*
Maybe it's the avian flu, showing up early?
Maybe germs spread through the interbunny.
Dear Coworkers,
When I drag my ass into the office early because I have a doctor's appointment and more work than I can handle stacked on my desk, please for not to mock me. When you do, it makes me think about shattering my coffee mug and shoving the broken shards into your neck. This is why you normally do not see me at this hour. If you value your lives, please help me maintain the delicate balance between misanthropy and murder by scattering like cockroaches the next time I head for the coffee maker.
Ta,

Also, UPS is holding my iPod hostage.
That can't be helping your mood any.
Not so much. What did help my mood was getting a phone call saying, "You're right, they're crazy, I'll make sure it doesn't happen again," regarding the clients who were driving me bonkers yesterday.
