Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

I'm with ita.

Mornings just keep happening, damnit.

My sweater has some random dark iridescent beads stitched here and there. I keep thinking I've spilled something down my front and try to brush it off.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Timelies.

Chatterhole!Coworker was fired today. For as long as I've been here, a large percentage of his conversation was about how he was going to get fired. On Monday he had a major fuck-up. I've certainly screwed up in the past, and shut down the wrong server myself, but the number of steps he had to go through to achieve the fuck-up was a little boggling. It sort of sounds as if he wanted to get fired. He has a wife and four kids, though. It kind of sucks.

More work for me, now, though. But I like the quiet.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

If he got fired for major incompetence, he won't get unemployment, will he? Did that guy just have some weird psychology going on?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Hey, Tom. 1) Thanks for calling the other day. I really appreciated it. You rock. 2) I'm sorry therapy's so hard for you right now. You can come lean on me, if you need. 3) Enjoy the quiet.

In New York, he probably will.

Did that guy just have some weird psychology going on?

The guy had some serious anger issues going on right below the surface.

This seems to happen to me whenever I'm at work! It's kind of like the discussion in Minearverse about X-Files writers...

It finally stopped snowing. Now I won't be able to reply, "Anthrax," when a coworker jokingly nods at the sky and says, "What do you think that is?"

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In New York, he probably will.

Really? Huh.

shrift, your anger is righteous. This guy's anger was creepy, and not specifically work related.

So. Just out of a meeting Re: this guy getting fired.

Next up, at 11:00, my performance review.

I can't wait till there's a Sci-Fi channel movie about giant killer Don Sphynxes.
