I wonder if the current administration has become enough of a liability for the Republican party for impeachment discussions to be happening behind closed doors? You know Bush would never step down willingly no matter how bad it gets.

Well, I guess I should brave the cold and get that prescription because I seem to be feeling worse the longer I stay awake rather than better and temps seem to be falling rather than rising.
I think that the goal was to stay below 5
Which is a wonderful think if you can manage it. Hubby can do it, but I can't. I'm fairly convinced Hubby is a mutant, though.
So basically Bush is melting down. (Or, at the very least, the number one propaganda organ of the GOP wants us to think Bush is losing it - that's just bizarre on its face, and shows had bad things are for Bush, and the party.)
It seems that FoxNews has been much rougher on him lately too. Very odd. And kinda fun, but odd.
or if he's terrified I'll walk out and leave him to deal with all of this by himself.
Yeah, that'd be my guess. Either way, take it.
I think I'll actually watch the next State of the Union speech, to try to gain some insight into Bush's state of mind. My money is on Bush stopping after delivering the first few minutes of the speech and then shouting, "I'm a little monkey!! Watch me dance!!" Followed by Bush doing his little monkey dance, which will be sorta like a Numfar dance, only not as good.
Sounds more and more like the stories about Nixon during the last days of his Watergate....
I dunno. It sounds kind of like a crock of shit to me. The whole "He's so lonely" shtick, well, (a) why would it break in the Washington Times unless there'sa motivation there? (b) Who except Maureen Dowd is so into personality shorthand as evidenced in that excerpt? (c) Is it actually possible for a president to maintain contact with only four people, none of them his chief of staff, for longer than it takes to pee?
Which is not to say that GWB may be having a bad day or week or year or term, but somehow I don't think he is going to bust out crying in the middle of a press conference.

Rupert Murdoch is nothing if not an opportunist. He's just as fawning to the Communists in China as he is to the Republicans, because it's good for business.
I see him as more likely to have a Captain Queeg-style breakdown. It makes me want to send him a gift set of large ball bearings in time for his next fireside chat.
