Oh, wow. This place looks great. Oh, I feel like a witch in a magic shop.

Scientists: Sleepy Students Perform Worse

Well, yeah. There was this one time I fell almost asleep and solved the conflicts in teh Middle East using the thermodynamics lesson being taught. Of course, then I woke up and promptly forgot it. Including the thermo lesson.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My subway was empty, but I might blame that on the fact that I decided to arrive after 10, when all normal people have already arrived at work.

I hate when I randomly take the train at a regular commuting time, and it's so full! My student lifestyle does not include rush hour, generally.

Art Crawl!!!

I can't wait to watch c.s.i. tonight -- sounds like there is something interesting.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I once took a class on sleep studies. It was a terrific class -- great prof, fascinating subject matter -- but it was scheduled at 2 pm, in a giant lecture hall with the lights dimmed (so we could see the slides).

It was the most ironic falling asleep in class I ever did.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

apparently he has a gf at the moment

She's no good for him.

This is LA traffic. I have never worked out when it's going to be good. I can only predict when it's going to be bad. Good -- it's like a random gift from the traffic gods.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

did you google tenafly pronunciation?

No, I googled tenafly "new jersey" pronounce. That might be my problem right there.

In other news, banks are closed today. Who gets anything done when the bank is closed, I ask you?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Who gets anything done when the bank is closed, I ask you?

Bankophobics?
