I once took a class on sleep studies. It was a terrific class -- great prof, fascinating subject matter -- but it was scheduled at 2 pm, in a giant lecture hall with the lights dimmed (so we could see the slides).
It was the most ironic falling asleep in class I ever did.

My office is having a Christmas party. Which is normal. But this is not your average christmas party. It is taking place over 2 days in a secret location. Everyone is bringing their families, and I have just me. The thought of spending an entire weekend with cow-orkers, even though I like them, makes me filled with anxiety, aas does the not knowing where the fuck I am going. And I have to do something with my cat, because I don't want to leave him alone for that long, as he might go craxy.
I have to decide in 1 hour and 20 minutes...
