Kaylee: Can I? Zoe: Sure. He's out, though. Kaylee: He did this for me, once.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Chocolate would help. I should have food, but that means the stupid pills first.

Today was just too much, with the neuro and the work and the PT and then watching the instructor training. Watching the training was really cool, because it lets a different part of me process the techniques, plus the instructor in charge would come over and have me critique the students, which is learning in and of itself. And I got to help teach my peers, but gently.

I thought I was doing so well, but I crashed so suddenly I had to go to my car to lie down before I could drive home, and I can feel the three grapes I had trying to come back up, the cheeky bastards.

And, finally, the migraine I thought I'd avoided today...is here.

I'm just so fucking tired. I wish I could sleep nights.

Your wee girl sounds absolutely adorable.

My GOD, that's one dead thread.

Dudes, you can come back. No concussion talk all day, I swear.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Hmmm, its been a quiet night here...

Woe to the fucking wicked.

We were talking about pi in class, though we didn't get into the fun bits.

Now we're talking about the relationships between lines and circles.

No, we've moved on to the relationships between cirlces.

Mine is an exciting life

Would those be the bits where the aliens inserted a message to Jodie Foster?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Gah, ita. Are you still under warranty? I think you need to make some angry phone calls.

Seriously, it's past time for the cosmos to let up on you for a while.

Now tagless for your comfort.

My GOD, that's one dead thread.

I could have posted HOURS ago but I was making biscuits for breakfast.

Now Owen and I are off to the toddler gym. That's about as exciting as it gets for us.

There's a woman giving birth in a cab on the interstate here this morning.

We didn't even get into "we don't know exactly what it equals." We just used 3.14 (which we determined experimentally, but I think, if we're going to use the symbol and term, you have to give the "this is approximate" speech. IMO, one of the cooler math things we'll get into with this age group.)

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Agh, ita. That last -- or, no, second-to-last -- post of yours is just making me cringe. The universe really, really needs to lay off your poor body and brain for a while, and your doctors really need to get their shit together and properly doctor you soon. That's almost too much physical misery to read, and I can't even imagine how awful it is to live through it every damn day.

Re the Derby: aw, fuck. And the Vince Vaughn idea is actually kinda brilliant. Allyson, is there any chance you could possibly consider running a "Save the Derby" campaign? You have the experience and the creativity and this time it's not just a show, it's your whole neighborhood's character at stake; also, nightclub fandom is likely way, way less craxy than TV fandom.

I was trying to grade when suddenly my daughter appeared in the hallway, dragging her blankets with her.
