Allyson, you're being over-thinky. Tim said he'd get you in, and he will.
Nutty, go to the drugstore and pick up Cort-Aide cream for sensitive skin. It should have something like .5% cortisone in it. That is perfectly safe to use on your eyelids. (My doctor told me to use it the last time I foolishly switched eyeliner brands and developed a horrible allergic reaction.)
I have cortisone things for skin issues that sound exactly like that too, Nutty. Jilli is wise.
Speaking of, I think I discovered how to make ghoul eyes today but was in a gold spectrum. The effect was interesting. I actually got compliments on it.
I have a new tagline for the first time in forever.
Oh man, I've been trying to get in touch with the expo to make absolutely sure that there will be a whiteboard, markers, and eraser set up in the room and find out if Tim will have to be miked for the event since they're recording it to sell DVDs. But they're likely in the frenzied few days before the event crush. Which I understand.
Bleh. I'm probably way overthinking. I'm hypersensitive to being a pain in the ass.
Allyson, I agree with everyone else. Go, it shouldn't be a problem.
I am confident you are not a pain in the ass to event people, Allyson.
Of course, half the reason I like to be on the door, as opposed to just volunteers with a list, is that I let anyone in with a good story, rather than make it a Thing. Which volunteers have been known to do, trying to do the right thing.
Okey doke. My feelings of supreme guiltness have been reduced by 20%. So that's better.
I snapped at my father and then swallowed the true cause of my irritation, masking it with half the truth instead of laying it out there.
So now I'm mad at us both, instead of just him.
I hate being this low on reserves.
I
despise
being the person who lashes out to punish people for her mood, for which they're not even slightly responsible.
It's not to late lay it out there, if you want to mitigate. It may not be appropriate/you may not feel like getting into it, but the option exists.
