Do you think Tim is mistaken?
I think it depends on who is doing registrations. I'm not familiar with this conference, and sometimes registration people are volunteers who are overworked and not thinking outside the box.
I would hope they would defer to the speaker, but I just have no idea if it'll end up being an issue where they call the probably not-hottie security team and cause a kerfuffle.
I probably am overthinking in event-mode, where I'm always in a Worst Case Scenario frame of mind
Robin and Sparky are wise.
Go to the class and enjoy.
Go and let Tim throw his weight around.
You could just call the expo people yourself, too. Especially if you just want to go to the one part you set up.
Allyson, you're being over-thinky. Tim said he'd get you in, and he will.
Nutty, go to the drugstore and pick up Cort-Aide cream for sensitive skin. It should have something like .5% cortisone in it. That is perfectly safe to use on your eyelids. (My doctor told me to use it the last time I foolishly switched eyeliner brands and developed a horrible allergic reaction.)
I have cortisone things for skin issues that sound exactly like that too, Nutty. Jilli is wise.
Speaking of, I think I discovered how to make ghoul eyes today but was in a gold spectrum. The effect was interesting. I actually got compliments on it.
I have a new tagline for the first time in forever.
Oh man, I've been trying to get in touch with the expo to make absolutely sure that there will be a whiteboard, markers, and eraser set up in the room and find out if Tim will have to be miked for the event since they're recording it to sell DVDs. But they're likely in the frenzied few days before the event crush. Which I understand.
Bleh. I'm probably way overthinking. I'm hypersensitive to being a pain in the ass.
Allyson, I agree with everyone else. Go, it shouldn't be a problem.
