Wash: Captain, didn't you know kissin' girls makes you sleepy? Mal: Well sometimes I just can't help myself.

Up with the sun

We had the governor (go Tim Kaine), a bunch of unopposed local offices, and school board.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

We had a bunch of city council members running (only one of whom I'd heard of), a mayoral race, and a whole lot of bond measures.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

We had a bunch of local offices (including Mayor), and 4 propositions. The nice thing about voting early in the morning is you don't have to take any of the flyers being handed out on the subway -- "I already voted" will make them leave you alone.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Weren't any of the candidates handing out doughnuts at the subway? Chicago politicos love to do that to "thank the voters".

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The nice thing about voting early in the morning is you don't have to take any of the flyers being handed out on the subway -- "I already voted" will make them leave you alone.

As someone who hasn't ever voted -- you don't ever have to take them. Sometimes I lie, sometimes I tell the truth, sometimes I tell some of the truth, sometimes I say nothing.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Now tagless for your comfort.

We have a bunch of propositions here in Ohio--mostly they are "why are we letting corrupt Republicans gerrymander us out of existence and keep rolling in pay-to-play campaign contributions when we can stop it?" I voted for those. That and to keep someone like Ken Blackwell from stealing the election for someone like Bush again.

And a nice renewel of a city bond issue.

They don't give you an "I voted today" sticker to prevent that? Owen's wearing mine on his sweatshirt right now.

But the anus is holy!

Would rimming, then, be an act of veneration?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

They don't give you an "I voted today" sticker to prevent that?

Years ago I stuck mine on my roomate's Cylon action figure.
